Computing on the Net or: Computer Algebra goes Java
The internet is a huge potential resource of computing power. In this talk we will discuss ways to open up this resource to computer algebra applications. In particular we will present a computer algebra system whose kernel is implemented in Java. This allows it to be incorporated into a web page, inviting internet users all around the world to contribute CPU cycles to a massive computation.
